It's go big or go home in the Garmin Freestyle Bikes at Dominion Riverrock. Some of the best pro's in the nation look for big action in this event hosted by by freeride bikes pioneer, Jeff Lenosky. The Best Trick on Friday night gives riders the chance to fight for all or nothing in this one jump, winner take all competition. Then, on Saturday, the slopestyle competition judges riders on the style and difficulty of big air jumps in addition to how fast they can finish the 125 yard long course. These riders will definitely wow the crowd with wicked air and the carnage left behind from huge gravity checks.

This is a Professional level event and participation in the event is by invitation only. If you are interested in participating in either the slopestyle or best trick competitions, please email John Raigins.

Packet Pick Up:

Packet Pick-up is in the American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar courtyard during the following times:

Thursday, May 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, May 15 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A photo ID is required for adults to pick up your packet (not required for minors without IDs).

Competition Format:

BEST TRICK: Riders are judged on the difficulty and quality of one big jump.

SLOPESTYLE: Riders are scored based on the speed of their run plus the difficulty and quality of their jumps. The course is approximately 125 yards long and features a number of jumps and obstacles.

COMPETITION SCHEDULE:
Friday, May 15 6:30-7:30 p.m Slopestyle Qualifying
Saturday, May 16 6 -7 p.m. Slopestyle Finals
Sunday, May 17 3 p.m. Best Trick Qualifying
Sunday, May 17 4 p.m. Best Trick Finals

Age Requirements:

Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate.

Awards:

Best Trick: Prize money will be awarded to the rider with the best trick.

2nd $500
3rd $250

Slopestyle: Prize money will be awarded to the top five riders.

1st $1,200
2nd $900
3rd $600
4th $300
5th $150

This event will happen rain or shine. However, it may be interrupted, postponed, or cancelled if lightning occurs or safety is a concern due to weather.  In the case of the event being postponed, the competition will be held as soon as event officials decide conditions are safe and reasonable for competition, which could include the following day.  As a result of postponing the event, it is possible the competition will be shortened due to time constraints.  In the case of the event being cancelled, the winner of the competition will be determined by rank at the point of the cancellation.  The event organizers will not be responsible for reimbursing any additional costs to the athletes as a result of the competition being delayed or cancelled.
