Cash prizes are up for grabs! Photographers of all levels (pro to beginner) are invited to enter. Photographers may shoot for whatever portion of time period they deem necessary, and they may photograph any Dominion Riverrock personality, competition, activity or venue they choose.

On site registration is on Brown's Island during the following times:
Thursday, May 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, May 20 beginning at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All photographers MUST check in on Brown’s Island on Friday, May 18 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday, May 19th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., or Sunday, May 20th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Failure to check in will eliminate them from prize money consideration.
This competition is open to photographers of all ages.
Photographers must submit no more than five (5) images as high resolution .jpeg files via email to riverrockphotocontest@gmail.com by midnight on Sunday, May 20th. Please include contact information in the email. Late submissions will NOT be accepted. No more than one image per photographer will be eligible for prize money.
A panel of judges will be looking for the one overall image that captures the spirit of Dominion Riverrock. Photographers will be responsible for providing their own equipment. Organizers will not be responsible for incomplete, late or damaged submissions. Photographers agree to share rights to all images submitted with Sports Backers and Venture Richmond. By entering a photo in the Richmond Times-Dispatch Digital Photo Contest, the entrant is granting Sports Backers and Venture Richmond a nonexclusive, transferable, royalty-free license to publish the photo for advertising, marketing and promotional purposes without attribution (in some cases), compensation, permission or further notification to the entrant. Employees of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Sports Backers and Venture Richmond are ineligible for the contest.
Results will be announced on Wednesday, May 23rd on the Dominion Riverrock website.
Prize money will be awarded to the top three photos:
1st $500
2nd $250
3rd $100
$50 honorable mention cash prizes will be awarded to the top photos in the following categories: Music, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle, Bouldering, Trail Running, Mountain Biking, Freestyle Biking, and Ultimate Air Dogs.
